What counts as a scan?
A scan is counted each time Zerobillbot analyzes a pull request that contains infrastructure-as-code changes (Terraform or CloudFormation files). If you push multiple commits to the same PR, each analysis counts as one scan. PRs without IaC changes are not counted.
Can I try Pro free?
Yes! Every new organization gets a 14-day free trial of Pro when they install Zerobillbot. No credit card required. After the trial, you can continue on the Free plan or upgrade to Pro.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Zerobillbot dashboard. When downgrading, you'll keep Pro features until the end of your current billing cycle. Upgrades take effect immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
Pro subscriptions and Enterprise monthly subscriptions are processed through PayFast self-checkout. Enterprise annual and custom contracts can also support invoicing and bank transfers.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing saves you 20% compared to monthly billing. Pro annual is available through self-checkout, while Enterprise annual is arranged through sales.
What happens if I exceed my scan limit on the Free plan?
Zerobillbot will continue to post cost analysis comments, but the GitHub Check Run will be skipped for PRs beyond your monthly limit. You'll receive a notification suggesting an upgrade. No data is lost.
Can I use Zerobillbot with private repositories?
Absolutely. Zerobillbot works with both public and private repositories on all plans. We only read the file diffs from your pull requests — we never clone your repository or access your source code.
