Terms of Service
Last updated: March 3, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Zerobillbot service ("Service"), including the Zerobillbot GitHub App, website at Zerobillbot.dev, and any related APIs or tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and that organization.
2. Description of Service
Zerobillbot is a GitHub App that analyzes infrastructure-as-code (Terraform and CloudFormation) changes in GitHub pull requests and provides estimated cost impact analysis. The Service:
- Receives webhook events from GitHub when pull requests are opened or updated
- Analyzes file diffs for infrastructure resource changes
- Calculates estimated monthly cost impact based on public cloud pricing data
- Posts cost analysis comments on pull requests
- Creates GitHub Check Runs that may block merges based on configured thresholds
3. Account Registration and Security
To use the Service, you must install the Zerobillbot GitHub App through GitHub's marketplace or app installation flow. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your GitHub account
- All activity that occurs under your GitHub App installation
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of the Service
We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your GitHub account.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
4.1 Free Plan
The Free plan provides limited access to the Service at no charge. Free plan features and limits may be changed at any time with reasonable notice.
4.2 Paid Plans (Pro and Enterprise)
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for the applicable subscription fees.
- Pro plan: $29/month per organization (or $278/year with annual billing)
- Enterprise plan: $99–$299/month per organization, depending on configuration
4.3 Upgrades and Downgrades
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, with prorated charges for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
4.4 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except as required by applicable law.
5. Service Availability
5.1 Free and Pro Plans
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to maintain high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime for Free or Pro plans. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.
5.2 Enterprise Plan SLA
Enterprise plan customers are covered by a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with a 99.9% monthly uptime commitment. If we fail to meet this commitment, affected Enterprise customers are eligible for service credits as follows:
- 99.0%–99.9% uptime: 10% service credit
- 95.0%–99.0% uptime: 25% service credit
- Below 95.0% uptime: 50% service credit
Service credits must be requested within 30 days of the applicable monthly period and are applied to future invoices. Planned maintenance and force majeure events are excluded from uptime calculations.
6. Acceptable Use
